Nature lover and family person Johanna is our new ICT consultant

What is your role at Linkyard and what will your work look like?

My first work will be as a business analyst, presumably primarily in recording requirements for requirements management. My interest is nonetheless wide-ranging. I learn quickly and am open and excited to see what's in store for me.

Describe your career path

I studied industrial engineering in Munich. I had our two children while still studying. So I learned early on to be particularly flexible, both professionally and privately, and at the same time efficient and focused in order to balance everything. I initially worked for an IT service company - also in Munich. There I was a project manager for classic and agile projects. We have programmed web applications, apps (Android/iOS) and tools. In addition, I was responsible for constantly improving internal company processes so that they remained efficient in view of the constantly growing number of employees.

I took on my second job at MTU (still Munich), where I spent the first one and a half years as an IT project manager and introduced a group-wide project management tool. From there, I switched to in-house consulting as a lean consultant for another one and a half years and until we moved to Switzerland (my husband is from Switzerland). Keyword KVP measures, RPA, Design Thinking (as method owner).

In Switzerland, the adventure initially continued at an IT consulting company, which is primarily at home in the Microsoft world (PowerBI, Dynamics 360, Power Apps...).

I later accepted a job as a product owner. This involved the final development and introduction of a new version of the company's own platform to meet current security, performance and technology requirements.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

Cheerful, courageous, with a quick grasp and a trained eye for the essentials and the common denominator, I particularly enjoy working successfully in interdisciplinary teams.

What do you enjoy about your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my family and horses, spending time in nature and am a passionate baker.

Why is the earth round?

Who says that? 😅
