Our new consultant Thery is a bridge builder between specialist areas, technology and generations

What is your role at Linkyard and what will your work look like?

I've joined the LinkYard consultants team. So I can call myself a Linkyarder. I will now be very happy to get involved with our customers in the implementation of their projects. With my professional experience and quality thinking, I will support project objectives from documentation of requirements to successful acceptance testing and beyond. Our project pipeline is full of exciting, current topics.

Describe your career path

After studying economics at the University of Zurich, I completed a solid IT project manager career. It was a time when the Internet and mobile apps became important in market development and the project-oriented implementation of the company strategy was just beginning to be perfected. I have proven my experience with an IPMA B certificate from VZPM and also worked there as an assessor.

With the agile transformation over the last decade, I too have made a U-turn and focused on product development and quality assurance. A mortgage advice portal, a real estate value calculator and automated regression tests for credit card transactions are works that I have delivered recently.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

I am a bridge builder between specialist areas, technology and business worlds, between cultures and generations.

What do you enjoy about your free time?

I love getting out into the fresh air during my free time. I can charge my batteries while hiking, jogging, sailing, gardening. Accordingly, I am also concerned about our environment and how today's society is doing in it. In 2020, I joined the Cleanwalkers association, which invites the population in urban agglomerations to events in which we remove littering (waste/garbage) from the environment to protect nature. We're already doing pretty professional work there. We're making quite an impact. More information is available at www.cleanwalkers.ch

Did we invent or discover mathematics?

We discovered mathematics with our inquisitiveness, our desire for structure and order and thus achieved enormous added value in human history.
