Challenge
The security of IT systems is particularly important for every bank. It is even more important for the first Swiss crypto bank with a FINMA license. For SEBA, the question was how a slowly establishing bank can maintain the agility and drive of a start-up in a heavily regulated environment. Within a very short period of time, a complete development environment with the highest security requirements and a management approach was needed, which the company could navigate in this environment in an agile and targeted manner.
Solution
The management of SEBA decided not to introduce classic management by objectives with associated variable compensation. Instead, linkyard supported the bank-wide introduction of Objectives & Key Results, the management method used by Intel, Google & Co. Since the founding of SEBA, linkyard has also operated the business-critical software development environment together with tools for project management, IT service management and content collaboration in the SaaS model for the ambitious start-up, which now has 100 employees.
