Markus brings over 30 years of IT experience to the table, ranging from hands-on support and network engineering to leading teams of technical experts. Today, his passion lies in the Atlassian ecosystem. During his 13-year tenure at Swisscom, where he served as Head of Jira and Confluence and as an Application Manager, he gained firsthand experience in navigating the challenges of complex enterprise environments. He sees himself as a bridge-builder between stakeholders and technical implementation: whether it’s requirements engineering, business process engineering, or managing large-scale projects, his goal is to design workflows that deliver genuine added value. Since May 2025, he has been applying this expertise as an Atlassian Engineer at linkyard, with a focus on Jira Data Center, Jira Service Management Cloud, and continuous process optimization.
